Golf Shop Golf Clubs and Repair Custom Golf Clubs Custom Golf Clubs
Professionally fitting and building custom clubs is the GOLF SHOP’s specialty. Contrary to popular belief, custom clubs do not cost more than Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM’s) clubs. They generally cost LESS.

Further, at the GOLF SHOP, you don’t have to purchase a “traditional” set of 3-PW. Your set make-up will be custom engineered to YOU. Many golfers today are opting for sets that eliminate the hard to hit 3-iron and include a valuable gap or approach wedge instead. Some iron sets start with the five or even the six-iron. You only pay for the clubs you need.

Most OEM companies began to strengthen their iron lofts significantly in the 1980’s to advertise more distance. The result is that their lofts are much stronger than the former standards (see Golf Club Facts). Several highly recognizable brand names currently have their Pitching Wedge loft at 43 degrees, which makes the club really an 8-iron! This means that today’s golfer needs to have more wedges to maximize their scoring opportunities, and their whole set needs to be engineered for the proper loft differentials.

Using a GolfTek Pro V computerized swing analyzer and the newest Vector Pro Launch Monitor, we will review your swing speed, tempo, transition & release swing mechanics, size, strength and athletic ability to develop clubs that will best meet your requirements.

You can choose from a wide variety of styles of game improvement heads. Our clubs are custom fitted to you and hand assembled from the highest quality components. Each shaft is examined and is assembled with the shaft in the optimum orientation in the club head. This eliminates the “ovaling” that occurs with more expensive off-the-rack clubs that come off an assembly line.

We carry high performance original equipment club lines that are only available to custom club makers, such as:
Alpha
Bang
Infinity
Scratch Golf
Tom Wishon Golf Technology

These companies produce proven high performance drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons. Alpha & Bang produces driver heads that are multiple winners in World Long Drive competition. These manufacturers are regularly featured in publications such as Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golf World and Golf Week.

Our drivers and fairway woods start with a high quality graphite shaft from companies such as Aldila, Grafalloy, UST, and Fujikura. Our stock shaft is considered an “exotic” shaft on most OEM-produced woods. High quality drivers are available in a variety of lofts and shaft combinations generally ranging in price from $200 to $399 or more, depending on the particular head style and shaft selected. Super premium shafts are also available. These include the Fuji Motore Speeder, Fuji Six, Fuji ZCom, and the newest Fuji Rombax, Matrix ZCON Mitsubishi Diamante, and others. In fact, any shaft available on the market today can be ordered and installed in just a few days.

Fairway woods range in price from $130 to $250. Popular hybrid irons are also available in a variety of styles and range in price from $99.99 to $150. All of these prices include “the right” OEM graphite shaft and your choice of grip.

We also carry high performance putters such as Guerin Rife, Heavy Putter, and Machine. These premium brands are played on professional tours worldwide.

Shafts in stock or available through special order include the following: Grafalloy UST Fujikura Aldila Graphite Design Matrix Harrison Mitsubishi True Temper SK Fiber Graman

The GOLF SHOP is a UST Tour Shop and has every UST shaft that is currently played on the PGA Tour. We are a Certified Rifle Center (CRC) and specialize in frequency matching shafts to ensure consistent playability. For those golfers playing taper tip forged iron heads, we can frequency match shafts using special techniques to provide you with more precise flex characteristics.

Offset and closed-face clubs are available to help fix a slice; hybrid clubs replace those hard-to-hit long irons; and adjustable weight driver and fairway woods provide the ultimate in fine-tuning your ball flight.

Remember too that LOFT is your best friend off the tee. Today’s ball and club head technology result in higher driver trajectory than in the past. A proper launch angle gives you the longest total carry and distance and is affected less by sidespin (slicing or hooking). Our Vector Pro Launch Monitor is the key to understanding the exact combination of club head loft and shaft to ensure that you get the most out of your swing.
