The GOLF SHOP carries ALPHA, Eidolon, Scratch and Tom Wishon custom wedges, in a variety of finishes, lofts and bounce angles. Many other wedge styles are also in stock, offering you a very wide selection.
Make sure that your wedges have the proper bounce angle for the course conditions that you play. Deep, soft sand requires a sand wedge with plenty of bounce to keep the clubs from digging too far into the sand. Hard or thin sand conditions combined with a desire to hit sand wedge shots from the fairway dictates a wedge with less bounce and/or narrow sole width.
Don't make the mistake of using heavy steel shafted wedges if you play graphite in your other irons. This will give you a radically different feel and probably a much stiffer shaft than your other irons, to the detriment of your short game.
Also, many professionals now play wedges that are shorter than the rest of their irons to increase the level of control with these scoring clubs. Your current wedge can easily be retrofitted to a different length, lie angle, loft and/or Swingweight. See what a shorter wedge can do for your game.
